2. Local processing of tool inputs

Interactive calculations run in your browser. Actual tool inputs are not sent to dbfam servers. Some tools save their latest state in your browser’s local storage. You can remove this data by clearing the site data in your browser.

3. Consent and Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, only after your explicit consent. Before then, no Google tag is loaded and no analytics information is sent to Google. After consent, page views, approximate region, device and browser details, and approved product events may be processed. We do not send actual tool inputs, names or free text. Google signals and personalised advertising are disabled in our implementation.

After consent, Google Analytics may set cookies including “_ga” and “_ga_*”. Google may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA as part of its services. More information is available in Google’s privacy policy. Your choice is stored locally under “dbfam:consent:v2”. You can change it at any time in the footer; after withdrawal, we block further Analytics measurement and delete Google Analytics cookies accessible on this domain.

4. Affiliate and external links

Some clearly disclosed links lead to Amazon or other external partners. dbfam may receive a commission from a purchase at no extra cost to you. The website does not load embedded Amazon advertising scripts for these links. You leave dbfam digital only when clicking a link, after which the provider’s privacy terms apply.

5. Hosting and technical logs

When a website is requested, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data such as IP address, time, requested file and browser information. This is required for secure and stable delivery.

DNS, TLS, protection and delivery also run through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technically necessary information such as IP address, requested domain and URL, time, browser and device details, and security events. This supports secure, fast and stable delivery of the website.

Links may lead to dbfam travel, Etsy, official authorities or other partners. These services operate their own websites and privacy policies.
